We’re excited to announce the next in our series of Lunch & Learn events, looking at the power of effective communication in times of crisis.
The first few weeks of lockdown saw a wave of generosity and many fundraising appeals have exceeded their original targets and the case for support of the arts has never been more visible in the media. Crafting sensitive and effective crisis communications has been essential to achieving this. But now that reopening our organisations looks more like a marathon than a sprint, how we sustain this feeling of urgency and maintain engaging communications with our audiences and supporters, is an increasing challenge. Join us to hear from communications professionals in the arts to understand how they’ve adapted their messaging, how they’re continuing to engage with audiences and the reactions they’ve seen from supporters. We’ll also explore how arts organisations have publicly responded to the Black Lives Matters movement over the last few weeks. We’ll then hold a Q&A and open discussion as part of breakout rooms.
